Euvon Dunbar, Reading Interventionist/Specialist

I’m excited to be back in the classroom after a five year hiatus. Prior to retirement, I was the Reading Interventionist for 8 years at RIS in the Russellville School District. In addition, I worked 26 years as a regular classroom teacher, teaching a wide variety of courses… I’ve been a 10 year old for all of my teaching career. However, my degrees qualify me as a Specialist of Reading for grades PreK-12. My husband, James and I celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary this past June. We have three adult children; Rebekah, Samuel, and Joshua w. Sarah. I have three dogs… two corgis and one rescue. I call them my reading dogs. I’m thrilled and look forward to working in a private school. God opens doors, now I get to continue in the mission field He put on my heart from an early age. I pray I can help support the students, parents, and teachers of RBA through developing the ability to read… as well as becoming a lifelong reader.
